Two Ghanaian ladies who have perfected the act of using the international wing of the Lagos airport  as transit route for trafficking young girls have been nab by  Operatives of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

The ladies whose names were been  withheld immigration officials said were arrested at about 10:00am yesterday inside the departure hall of the Lagos airport while attempting to check-in on Egypt air flight MS876.

They were suspected of exploring Nigeria to travel to Jordan because they were ineligible to travel out of Accra airport because of Ghana strict regulations regarding movement of young ladies.

Upon interrogation, NIS officials discovered that their movement was a continuous attempts by the Ghanaian young ladies and their collaborators to use the MMIA as a transit route for trafficking of Ghanaian ladies to other continents.

The suspects are said to have been handed over to officials of the Ghanaian High Commission in Lagos.
