Good governance: 3rd Leadtimes Summit holds September

In a bid to further boost the promotion of good governance especially at the grassroot level, Leadtimes Africa Magazine has concluded plans to hold her 3rd international edition of the summit on Good Governance in Africa Leadership next month.
The summit being organized in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Management Consultant (CIMC), Canada, is themed: Promoting Good Governance in African Leadership at the Grass Root–A Case for Democratization of Local Government in Nigeria.
In a statement jointly signed by Professor Buba S. Mshelia, Prof. Lambe A.Adeyemi and Barr. Babajide Ladega, said the keynote address will be delivered by Kogi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Dr. (Engr.) Abubakar Sadiku Ohere.
It added that few selected individuals who have distinguished themselves would be honoured with honorary doctorate award, Leadtimes Africa Award for transparency and accountability.
The statement further explained that the programme which is billed for Unilag this September, will feature prominent personalities who have made some meaningful impacts on humanities in their chosen professional careers.
Also included in the roll of honour are Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu Candido, Chairman, AMAC, Abuja; Hon. Jide Ojuko, and Mrs. Ronke Sokefun, Ogun State Commissioners for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Agriculture respectively.
Other nominees are, John Gaul Lebo, Cross Rivers State speaker of the House of Assembly; Hon. Perekiye J. Buruboyefe, Bayelsa State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development;Hajiya (Dr.) Salamatu Al-Makura, wife of the Nasarawa State Governor and her Kano State counterpart, Dr. Hafsat Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, amongst others.
