NFF celebrates “hardworking” Abdulahi

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has celebrated Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdulahi who marked his birthday yesterday.
Celebrating the Bursaspor defendaer in its official Twitter account, the NFF described the Sokoto born defender as a hardworking player and wished him well.
“Happy birthday to hardworking right back Shehu. Have a good one,” the Tweet read.
Shehu Abdulahi was born in Sokoto State on 12 March 1993. He played with the Flying Eagles in 2012/13, played U23 (Dream Team) in 2014/16 and joined the Super Eagles in 2014 under late coach Stephen Keshi during the CHAN tournament in which Nigeria won bronze.
He started his professional career with Kano Pillars of Kano and had gone on to play for different clubs abroad
In July 2014, Abdullahi moved from Kano Pillars to Kuwaiti Premier League side Qadsia SC in a deal worth $480,000, of which Abdullahi received $330,000 and Kano Pillars $150,000. He later joined newly promoted Primeira Liga side C.F. União on a two-year deal.Anorthosis Famagusta On 2 September 2016, Shehu joined Cypriot side Anorthosis Famagusta on a two-year deal worth for the 20% of the player re-sale fee in other European club.
In January 2014, Senior team coach Stephen Keshi, invited him to be a part of the Nigeria national football team squad for the 2014 African Nations Championship. He helped the team to a third-place finish after Nigeria beat Zimbabwe by a goal to nil.
He was selected by Nigeria for their 35-man provisional squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Shehu Abdulahi currently plays for Turkish side, Bursaspor and wears jersy number 25
