Security: Elites Corps boss harps on more proactive measures
A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Elites Corps of Nigeria has called for more proactive measures that will strengthen security at
the nation’s borders.
The Commander General of the organization, Mr. Ubani B. Ubani made the call at a-5-Day capacity training for members of the organization, in Abuja.
According to him, adoption of proactive measures by critical stakeholders would further checkmate influx of fire arms and other items inimical to national growth and development.
In a remark, Mr. Osatimehin Joshua of Corporate Security and Intelligence Studies, Abuja, stressed the need for regular training of security personnel in the country.
Also speaking, the Permanent Security of the Elites Corps, Prince Uduma Okorie said the organization was established to compliment the efforts of government in the area of security.
