The Adamawa state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has thrown its weight behind the state House f Assembly for giving Governor Murtala Nyako’s Government two weeks ultimatum to pay backlog of salaries and allowances owed teachers and other categories of workers in the state.
The development was contained in a press release issued and the signed by State chairman of the party, Chief Joel Madaki, wherein Governor Nyako was urged to face the myriads of problems facing him instead of brewing trouble in the political system.
Madaki stated “The Governor should better face the myriads of problems befalling him which includes lack of development, defection of members from his new found party APC, corrupt practices ,injustice rather than cast aspersions and blame on the PDP.”
The PDP stakeholders in Adamawa State, he said, are not split along ethnic lines, but the stakeholders are rather united and focused towards winning all elections come 2015.
