The Big Boss who was spotted at the prestigious Hilton hotel in Malabo may have come to negotiate with their football chiefs on the possibility of his becoming the country’s national team coach.
There were confirmations from the country’s football eggheads on the possibility of the 2013 African coach landing job for the nation’s cup only, after which further agreements can be reached.
When we put calls across to the former International on his mobile lines, all were not reachable.
This is coming just few days after coach Steven Keshi who remains the most successful Nigerian coach led the Super Eagles to a dissappointing 2-2 draw with South Africa last month,a result which was not enough to see them through to the nations’s cup.
Keshi, it would be on record led the Super Eagles to win the African Nations cup, 19 years after winning as the captain of the team.
He is also the most mobile Nigerian coach. He took Togo to qualify for their first and only World in 2006, and also handled the Malian national team.
