The APC Initiative For Good Governance completely refutes the allegations of a 2027 Presidential ambition leveled against the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume.
Speaking to newsmen in Abuja, the National President of the APC Initiative For Good Governance (APC-IGG), Ambassador Musa Mohammed Tsoken, addressed the issue on Sunday.
Ambassador Musa described the SGF as an epitome of good governance and peaceful coexistence.
“What the Benue Progressives Forum, Ambassador Tsoken said , “is inimical and contrary to the principles of natural justice. It is made by mischief-makers to tarnish the good name and reputation of the detribalized SGF, known for his credibility and unwavering loyalty to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.
He criticized the Forum for alleging that Sen. Akume is preparing to contest the presidency in 2027, stressing that it goes against his character as one of the most disciplined, loyal, and dutiful public servants. Sabotaging his principal, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his administration is not in SGF Akume’s nature.
“SGF Akume is a respected nationalist and a patriotic leader par excellence,” Musa emphasized.
