The Convener New Nigeria Group and presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, has stated that the APC-led federal government of Nigeria has failed the citizenry in all her three cardinal election campaign promises.
Ohuabunwa, who was in Anambra state to explain to PDP stakeholders the reasons he is best suited for the presidency in 2023, said the APC-led federal government failed Nigerians in security, economy and corruption.
He said the APC said Nigerians should judge them on three things viz security, economy and corruption, but according to him, the economy, security and corruption are worst now and that the failure of the APC government is a naked fact, stressing that Nigerians should be careful this time not to repeat the colossal mistake they made enthroning APC at the helm of affairs of this country.
Ohuabunwa however stated that if elected next president, he would take Nigeria from the position of a third world country to a first world country; to make her globally competitive and globally respected. He said he was coming to move Nigeria from a nation of poverty of 71% in the economy to a nation of prosperity.
He said he would transform Nigeria from a nation of injustice to a just nation and that he would take Nigeria from a nation of insecurity to a secured nation and also focus on investment to create wealth and drive away poverty.
Ohuabunwa said above all, he would introduce righteousness as well as unblemished integrity in governance and administration of Nigeria and also ensure that corruption becomes history to enable the masses to enjoy the dividends of transparency, accountability, probity and honesty in governance and administration.
