The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Labaran Maku has promised to captain this month edition of monthly walking and jogging exercise organized by the Federal Public Service Games, (FEPSGA) billed on 26th at the Abuja national stadium.
Others sports enthusiasts expected at the event are permanent secretaries and directors of MDA to add glamour to the first monthly and walking exercise for the year.
Making this known to newsmen in Abuja, the national president of FEPSGA Dr. Victor Orji, said civil servants have intensify their readiness to troop the national stadium for the mandatory keep fit exercise.
He further said the exercise is in conjunction with the National Orientation Agency, (NOA) that has been working assiduously with the body to ensure the monthly working and jogging exercise achieve it aims and objectives.
Orji noted that the director general of NOA Mr. Mike Omeri has promised to support the dream of FEPSGA as well as honouring the working exercise in person in order to encourage the civil servants on the important to keep body fit for the herculean task before them.
“We are inviting everybody for the monthly walking and jogging exercise because high profile of dignitaries like information minister, Mr. Mike Omeri and others has assured FEPSGA their readiness for the exercise.
“We are also making frankly effort to secure sponsors to ensure the body will not only be on FEPSGA, “he said.
He lauded it executive members and civil servants for their wonderful displaced and cooperation during the2013 annual games at Makurdi, Benue state capital.
