From Ahmadu Baba Idris, Birnin Kebbi
Kebbi State Governor Senator Atiku Bagudu Abubakar and Bala Ibn Na’Allah, have won the All Progressives Congress (APC) Kebbi Centeral and South Senatorial District primary elections.
The primary was held on Saturday at Birnin Kebbi Stadium and Zuru Town Hall in Zuru.
Governor Bagudu defeated Senator Adamu Aliero with 445 votes where Aliero secores 0 votes and Na’Allah polled 287 to defeat Sule-Iko Sadeeq Sami and Shehu Muazu who got 13 and 47 respectively.
Chairman of the election committee, Hon Abdullahi Umar and the secretary Kabiru Usman confirmed that there were 347 accredited votes with zero voided vote.
Na’Allah a lawyer and pilot (seeking for third term) is currently serving a second term as Senator representing the zone and is currently the chairman Senate Committee on Nigeria Airforce and vice chairman senate committee on Aviation.
