La Liga giants Barcelona are reportedly regretting their decision to sign Kevin-Prince Boateng over Erling Haaland during their quest to find a replacement for Luis Suarez in January 2018.
According to Ghanasoccernet, during that time Barcelona were looking for a replacement in the January transfer window who could come as an injury backup as well as lend a hand in the Copa del Rey and some league games.
At that point, Haaland was catching the eye and scoring goals at Molde in Norway, but the Blaugrana decided he would be too unpolished, opting instead for Boateng from Italian side US Sassuolo, after his return of five goals in 15 games.
