The chairman Niger state PDP Congress Committee and Benue state Deputy Governor, Engr. Benson Aboonu has declared Bar. Tanko Beji as the elected Chairman of the PDP in Niger state.
Aboonu made the announcement at the just concluded party congress at the PDP secretariat in Minna, Niger state capital at the weekend.
The congress chairman said a total of 2305 delegates were accredited in the process, out of which Bar Tanko Beji, the immediate past chairman scored 2092 as his only rival, Engr. Ahmed Muktar got only 2 votes, while 8 votes were invalid.
