Save the Children International has said Climate Change is real, and Nigerians should learn from other countries and strengthen its early warning system and disaster management mechanism.
The acting Country Director of SCI, Shannon Ward stated this in a statement to mark the World Humanitarian day.
The statement stated that with the level of flooding in Nigeria and conflicts in the northeast, the country needs to do more to prevent anything that could lead to people being displaced from their communities.
Shannon Ward added that Save the children is in solidarity with people affected by climate change and associated disasters.
