Head of various Churches in Kaduna yesterday sensitized their members on how to remain safe amidst the coronavirus pandemic bedeviling the world.
A visit to some of the churches showed leaders enlighten members on safety measures to protect themselves and reduce the spread of the virus.
At the House of Purpose Ministry U/Sunday in Chikun Local Government Areas of Kaduna state the General Overseer Pastor Yakubu Yusuf said the Church might suspended all Sunday services not because the church is afraid of the virus but to respect the law of the land.
According to him, the Christian Body must lead by example and that is why they must follow the directives banning gathering that is more than 50 person.
Pastor Yakubu added that the best way to tackle the Coronavirus is to turn back to God , saying when the people of God repent of their sins God is always ready to forgive them and heal their land
He said while he much believed in the scriptures that said God will not put any of the sickness of the Egyptian on his people,he warned that Wisdom is profit to direct, hence he urged members to maintained high person hygiene and avoid person to person contact.
Members were also given hand sanitiser before coming into the sanctuary and the usual handshaking was also suspended.
Pastor Yakubu led the Church in a marathon prayer session for victory over the Coronavirus which he said is from the pit of hell and must return there.
Similarly a visit to Sanctuary of Favour Parish of the Redeem Christian church of God RCCG Mando in Igabi Local Government Areas of the state shows the zonal pastor Steve Olorunsola calling on Nigerians to unite in prayers in other to defeat the Coronavirus .
According to him just like Ebola,Lassa fever that is now history he is sure that Nigeria would soon overcome the deadly disease .
He noted that when Nigeria in irrespective of tribe or religion come together and seek forgiveness from God Coronavirus will also be a thing of the past.
