The Adamawa state Government has debunked speculations being peddled that the Corona virus (COVID 19) vaccination exercise was not extended to majority of the residents especially rural dwellers and internally Displaced persons(IDPs) in the state.
Commissioner of Health, Professor Abdullahi Isah refuted the speculation, stressing that the Federal government sent in the first doses of AstraZeneca vaccines for the state with conditions attached.
He said the instruction was for frontline workers to be given priority ahead of other people.
Professor Isah who disclosed the position during an interview with Journalists in Yola, Thursday, said the health workers, traditional rulers, top government officials were also considered.
