Gombe state governor Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo yesterday dissolved his cabinet, wished the state Executive Council who served under him fruitful future endeavour.
Dankwambo made this remark during a valedictory session with state Executive Council at Government House chamber in Gombe.
He appreciated both the state Executive Council, members of the media and civil servants for their contribution to the success of his administration.
While commending their efforts, Governor Dankwambo expressed his readiness to congratulate the Governor-elect, Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya urging that projects which were not completed, the new government should look into them and ensure that the left over projects are completed for the benefit of the people.
He explained the reasons why the projects were not completed saying that it was due to insecurity in the North-east that made foreigners handling the projects to live.
According to him, the projects which were said to have not be completed needed priority attention from the incoming government.
Speaking further, the governor thanked the people of the state for making his administration a success, adding that people support has deemed him fit to achieve his assignment.
