As the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed clocked 55 at the weekend, encomiums has been flowing in from his friends, well-wishers and aides across the state.
One of his aides, Commissioner for Information and Communications, Alhaji Muhammed Isaq Sabi, described Gov Ahmed as a blessing to this generation as he ranks one of the finest administrators in the current dispensation.
“Governor Ahmed’s record of performance in both corporate and public service contributed to his undeniable success in piloting the affairs of the state. He has been able to make this visible with his sterling performance as the executive governor of the state of Harmony.
“With the right approach to governance since his assumption of office, Governor Ahmed has been able to achieve so much in the areas of public re-orientation (information and communications), educational development, improved infrastructure, healthcare facilities, welfare of workers, remodeling of revenue generation, youth and women empowerment, security of lives and properties, among others.
“As a technocrat and member of the state executive council, I am proud of the governor, even as I make bold to identify with his programmes and policies. I therefore join millions of well-wishers across the globe to wish him many more years of sound health, fulfillments, as well as service to God and humanity”, Sabi stated.
