The retired Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court of Justice in Gwagwalada Area Council, Hon. (Dr) Mwada Balami, has called on the Federal Government to restore peace in the troubled areas of the country for the benefit of the people living there.
He also charged the Federal Government to redouble the efforts in tackling the security challenges facing the country in the interest of citizens.
Balami made the call in an interview with our Correspondent during the just concluded Christmas celebration in his residence in Gwagwalada, urged Christians to be Christ-alike.
He further pleaded with Christians to always follow the footstep of Jesus Christ.
He them called on both Muslims and Christians to live in peace at all times, saying that all religions promote peace.
His words: “My friend, I always tell the people that whether you are a Muslim or a Christian or a Pagan, we are up shut of Adam and Eve. So we are from one source”.
He said: “If God had wanted us to be one religion and one race, He would have done so, but He said no. So there should be no discrimination and there should be no segregation between any religion whatsoever”.
The ex-Judge therefore, noted that Pagans worshipped Idols by mentioning the name of Almighty God, saying that every human being belonged to God.
