In order to ensure a successful election of new executives that will pilot the affairs of football in Niger state, the state football association has inaugurated its electoral committee for next week local football council election.
Inaugurating the committee the first vice chairman of the state FA Alhaji A B Yabagi charge the committee to uphold the guidelines line up for the success of the election.
The election scheduled to take place from 24-28 to take place simultaneously in all the 25 local governments of the state.
Already sales of nomination forms have begun and it would last up to tomorrow in order to give every contestant an opportunity to contest.
Alhaji Yabagi said the state football association is ever committed to bring sanity to football organisation in the state so that those interested in promoting the game would have confidence on the FA executives.
He also said”the time has come to move away from the old practice to the new best practices as obtain all over the world and has given football a good image.
In his acceptance speech the chairman of the electoral committee comrade Adamu Sani Osmond thanks the state football association for giving him the mandate to serve and promise to that the election would be free and fair.
