A candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the National House of Representatives in Abuja South constituency in the forthcoming elections, Hon. Alhasan Usman Sokodabo, has called on the people of his constituency to come out en masse to vote for him 2019 elections.
Sokodabo, who was the former Chairman of Abaji Area Council made the call in an interview with newsmen after he emerged as a winner during the PDP House of Representatives primaries conducted on Wednesday in Kwali town hall, saying that he would continue to parley with the members of the party at all times.
He pleaded with other contestants to accept the outcome of the election in good faith.
His words: “We are one family and we will forge ahead together. The victory is for all of us”.
Declaring the results of the election, the INEC Returning officer, Prince Christ Okodi expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the election.
Meanwhile, during the election, Hon. (Dr) Alhassan Usman Sokodabo polled 278 votes to defeat Hon. Isah Egah Dobi who had 116 votes, while Hon. Constance Amadi polled 36 votes.
