Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State has rejoiced with Christians on the celebration of Christmas, urging them to preach peace and unity among their followers and the citizenry.
Delivering his goodwill message yesterday at Government House Birnin Kebbi, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu advised adherents to imbibe the virtues of love and compassion as exemplified by Christ, the Messiah.
He affirmed commitment to accord equity and support to all religious groups within an atmosphere of freedom and liberty to worship and conduct religious activities.
Similarly, the Governor extended his New Year message to all people of the state and other Nigerians with an appeal to intensifying prayers for peace and prosperity to the nation.
