Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has seized the opportunity of the retreat in Rwanda to woo prominent investors around the world to market in Kaduna State and extracted commitment for Foreign Direct Investment(FDI).
The Governor, along with other colleagues were, at the end of the robust engagement with entrepreneurs and policy-makers, Rwanda’s President, Paul Kagame hosted the foreign guests to a special dinner.
“After a deeply insightful and engaging Retreat, we were hosted to a closing dinner by the Rwandan President, His Excellency, Paul Kagame”, Governor Uba Sani wrote in his social media handles at the weekend.
The Governor explained that the closing dinner afforded all participants the opportunity for cross-fertilisation of ideas with the Rwandan government on a wide range of issues and concerns on the continent, “our developmental and security challenges, and the pathway to a prosperous future for our continent.”
Senator Sani revealed that the key participants also thanked President Kagame for sharing helpful tips on how to manage diversity in an increasingly complex and fractious world.
He disclosed that he used the Retreat to “showcase and market Kaduna State to Africa and the world. I held meetings with investors and got commitments from them to prioritize Kaduna State in their investment decisions.”Senator Sani revealed that the key participants also thanked President Kagame for sharing helpful tips on how to manage diversity in an increasingly complex and fractious world.
