Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani has moved to forge strategic and sustainable partnerships with development agencies to enable it to tap into external expertise, resources, and funding opportunities that will contribute to the overall growth and revitalization of the economy of the State.
This was contained in a Statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Muhammad Lawal Shehu after a meeting with the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Nigeria, Abdelaziz Albisher.
Gov. Sani asserted this during a meeting with the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Nigeria, Abdelaziz Albisher.
According to him, the meeting was aimed at effectively addressing developmental challenges revamping the State’s economy.
The meeting served as a follow-up to their initial engagement on 9th June 2023 and demonstrates the commitment of the Kaduna State Government to forging strategic and sustainable partnerships with development agencies.
He informed the top diplomat that the Kaduna State Government is dedicated to leveraging the expertise and resources of international development agencies to accelerate its development efforts and achieve sustainable growth.
On his part, Ambassador Albisher expressed keen interest in making Kaduna State a pilot beneficiary of the Kuwait Fund in Nigeria.
While welcoming this opportunity and highlighting the benefits that such a partnership would bring to the State, Governor Sani said “the proposal aligns with my administration’s SUSTAIN MANIFESTO on attracting investments and fostering economic development.”
Similarly, Governor Sani also received the top management team of Huawei Technologies Ltd, a leading Chinese technology company, led by its Managing Director Terrens Wu, on Tuesday 18th July 2023.
