A group, Tudun Nupawa Youth Council in Kaduna South Local Government Area of Kaduna state has embarked on an enlightenment campaign to educate youths in the area on the danger of being part of election violence
The chairman of the group, Murtala Ibrahim made the assertion during the lunching of the campaign in Kaduna yesterday.
According to him, youths are the backbone of any society of the world and as patriotic citizens, they are highly concerned with problems and calamities befalling youths in the society.
“As a result, we have come together to form this enlightenment campaign against election violence under the umbrella name; Tudun Nupawa Youth Council with aim of giving our own contributions to finding solutions to the youth problems and predicaments.”
In his remark, the Secretary of the Group, Tudun Nupawa Youth Council Aliyu Abubakar, said
“Everyone you see here are very ready to ensure violent free elections that is why we go out of the street to sensitize others.
‘We also engaged Imams pastors and parents begging them to admonished others in their messages so that we can achieve peaceful and violent free election.”
