The suspected kidnappers numbering 6 have kidnapped a son of Sarki Suru Ibrahim Yaro and a nephew to the National Financial Secretary to the RIFAN, demanding N50m ransom.
Confirming the incident to our correspondents on Thursday in Birnin Kebbi, the Local Government Council chairman Alhaji Umar Maigandi Dakingari said that the kidnappers enter the house around 2pm in suru and took away 37 years old Son of the Sarik Suru.
He added that all the necessary arrangements had been done through the security agents to rescue the victims while the families are working hard to bring back their son.
The chairman who further expressed dismay over the high rate of kidnapping in the area and Nigeria at large, appealed to parents to caution their children in any illicit drugs and friends.
Also speaking on phone while confirm the incident, the National Financial Secretary and the nephew to the victims Alhaji Ibrahim Suru said that his son has been kidnapped on Wednesday in the night by unknown people adding that they actually called him and demanding for N50m ransom.
“I was shocked when I had of the incidents and then the kidnappers called him and asked me to pay N50m as a ransom before releasing the boy.
Efforts in getting the side of the story prove abortive as the PPRO number was not going and test message was send but know reply.
