Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina state has assured Katsina electorate that he will not fail them now that they have given him a second term mandate.
Masari gave the assurance, weekend, while receiving his certificates of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Katsina.
The governor reiterated his commitment to taking the state to the next level in the areas of security, agriculture, education, Water supply, health, youth and women empowerment.
He called on all indigenes of Katsina irrespective of party affiliations, adding that he will run an all inclusive government where he said all indigenes of Katsina will be given opportunity to serve.
“In this election there were no winners or losers. We are all winners in Katsina because we all have the interest of the state at heart” he added.
Masari similarly argued that the issue of security is the responsibility of all, stressing that the issue of insecurity should not be left to the government and security agencies alone.
Presenting the certificate to the govetnor, INEC national commissioner in charge of Katsina, Jigawa and Kano States, Engineer Abubakar Ahmad Nahuce said the issue of inconclusive elections shows an improvement in the electoral process.
Nahuce urged winners to accommodate all in the task of running government and delivering democracy dividends.
Those who received certificate of returns include the Deputy Governor elect, Alhaji Mannir Yakubu and 34 elected members of the state House of Assembly.
