Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, has said that Saturday’s aptitude test into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), will not take place in states of origin but preferred centres.
Moro gave this clarification yesterday in Abuja while debunking reports in the social media that the applicants will travel to their various states for the aptitude test.
According to him, “I was surprised to read in the social media that people will have to travel to their states of origin to sit for the aptitude test. I did not give that information and that will defeat the essence of our online registration.
“We have already asked people to fill their preferred centres in their forms and cannot come again to refer them to their states of origin. We are all Nigerians and it doesn’t matter where you are writing you aptitude test from”, Moro said.
The minister further said security measures have been put in place to protect the lives of all the applicants.
