Following the clash between the Fulani and Gbagyi at Rafin Zurfi in Gwagwalada area council of the Federal capital Territory (FCT), the chairman of the area council, Abubakar Jibrin Giri, has concluded arrangement to meet with the traditional rulers of their respective communities to discuss issue of security in the area.
Giri, who made this known in a chat with Peoples Daily at the weekend in Giri, said that his administration would continue to give priority attention to the security of the residents in Gwagwalada and environs.
He pointed out that his administration would deal with any tribe which engages in trouble- making, while advising the youths to shun any form of violence for peace to reign in the area, irrespective of their tribes and religious inclinations.
The chairman disclosed that during the crisis two persons lost their lives.
