No fewer than two hundred and fourty thousands staff and their families have so far registered into the Jigawa State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (JICHMA).
This was announced by the executive secretary of the agency Dr Nura Ibrahim while speaking to news men in Dutse, the state capital.
He explained that, some of the beneficiaries of the program include staff from state, local government and Local Education authorities across the state.
According to him, Jigawa state is among the leading states in the implementation of the program among the 36 states of the federation.
Dr Nura also said over Forty Five Thousand Seven Hundred less privileged in the state will soon start benefiting from the free drugs program of the federal government.
He maintained that, 279 health facilities will be used to provide free drugs to the less privileged under the program.
