Jumia.com, an online retails shopping has predicted massive online shopping this year 2014, as people are getting more use to information communication technology business by the day and are quickly responding to them as fast as possible.
The company said that after a lot of speculation into what trends will follow through 2014.it believes fashion and mobile devices are likely to top the chart.
According to Olamide Amosu Jumia offline marketing manager, said that most people prefer placing order of their goods online than going to the market to buy, adding that the trends of going to the market is now getting old and people gets more comfort in placing orders of goods now than going to the market, which are delivered on time in a more convenient way.
Amosu said the company expects more online shopping this year, because the trends are about the future. Even though the people are not enlightening enough on the online retailing, but we expect that the trend would move faster and get better.
He said everything is about reinventing into modern looks and shopping would not be left out.
Amosu explained that this year’s business will be different and also more refreshing from what we are used too, because online shopping is improving altogether.
He said Nigerians are very trendy from rocking best fashion on red carpets of buying the latest gadgets which help to facilitate the online business, he stated.
