Kanye West has postponed his tour of Australia so he could concentrate on new music.
The Blood on the Leaves rapper was due to hit the road down under next month, but is postponing seven dates in five cities because of “unexpected timing requirements” to finish his new album.
The shows scheduled for May 2 to 11 will now be held from September 5 to 15.
The Grammy-winning star didn’t reveal any other details about his record, which is expected to be released later this year.
The follow-up to 2013’s divisive but critically acclaimed Yeezus LP is one of 2014’s most anticipated releases.
It will be a busy few months for Kanye, as he is rumoured to be marrying fiancee Kim Kardashian, mother of his 10-month-old daughter North, at the end of May.
