A non profit organization popularly known as Khalifa Dankadai Charitable KDC has promised to do all its best to standardize and sanitize Tsangaya school learning structure in six northern states.
This was disclosed by the project Director of the foundation Khalifa Dankadai during a one-day round-table discussion with stakeholders at FUD Senate building conference hall, Dutse, Jigawa state.
He explained that, KDC focused on implementing high impact and sustainable models for comprehensive and lasting Almajirci reforms towards a standardized, integrated and skill-based learning system through the Community Library Project (CLP).
He maintained that the project which is implemented in collaboration with federal, states and local government and other relevant stakeholders is supported by US embassy in Abuja.
According to him, the sanitization of Almajiri system can only be achieved with collaboration and support from the communities.
He added that, the project will also seek to engender more synergy and coherence among stakeholders to consolidate the impact of past and current efforts toward Almajirci reform in Kano, Jigawa, Katsina, Zamfara, Sokoto, and Niger states.
