Members of the Peoples Democratic Movement [PDM] in Kebbi state yesterday joined their counterparts across the country in the party’s registration exercise.
Addressing newsmen at the state party office, the state PDM chairman, Alhaji Ibrhaim Adamu Yauri, said that as the exercise would last for one week, Kebbi state would register more members than other political parties in the state.
He explained that 200 cards were issued per unit and 225 cards per ward across the 21 local governments.
He said “I am impressed with the turnout and also we registered some member through online including the chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kebbi state branch and his members. I can assure the people that with the present development, PDM would deliver in 2015 general election in the state and Nigeria at large’’ he added.
Yauri said that out of the strongest three political parties in the country, PDM would carry the day after the election even as he urged the people to support the party and come out e-mass to register for the progress of the country.
