The Niger State Police Command has confirmed that the abducted APC Zone ‘C’ chairman, Aminu Musa Bobi has been released by his abductors.
This was cintained in a press release issued by DSP, Wasiu A. Abiodun, who is the Police Public Relations Officer, Niger State Command.
Abiodun stated that the victim was subsequently rescued from the forest, debriefed and taken to General Hospital, Kontagora for medical attention, while effort to track down the culprits is being intensified.
According to him, Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Monday Bala Kuryas, appreciated the efforts of Nigerlites for their support and reiterated his commitment and readiness to ensure that the students of Mallam Salihu Tanko Islamiyya, Tegina are equally released and rescued unhurt.
