He said “the demarcation and improving of grazing reserves alongside with the provision of water and high quality grazing animal feed has contributed immensely in controlling Fulani/famers clashes in the state”.
Alhaji Ya’u also described the policy as worthy of emulation by both the Federal and states governments to address the incessant feud between the duo across the country”.
The chairman also commended the Special Adviser to the state governor Alhaji Aminu Suleiman for organising the workshop which he said is the first of its kind that is specifically targeted at educating the Fulani pastoralist’s children.
“I am optimistic that such workshop would enlighten our Fulani youths on the menace of drug abuse or taking any intoxicant and other related substances, which is also an abomination under the Islamic Shari’ah law.”
In his remarks during the occasion, the Special Adviser to the state governor on Youth Affairs, Alhaji Aminu Sulaiman charged the participants to put into practice what they have learnt during the workshop by shunning the vices of drug abuse.
