Nasarawa State farmers have made a passionate appeal to the state government to ensure early distribution of farm inputs for farmers in the state as the rainy season draws near.
Speaking in an interview with the Peoples Daily, leader of the group, Kugiya Numa, Karu local government, Mallam Hassan Dogo said the request became imperative because 2022 rainy reason is at hand and farmers are fully prepared, hence the need for government to assist them with the necessary farm inputs in order to enhance food production.
According to him, “we need farm inputs such as fertilizer, chemicals and finances to enable us embark on farming activities this year.”
