The Chief Medical Director of National Eye Centre Kaduna Dr. Alhassan Mahmud has promised to mobilize private sector and friends of the hospital to renovate the National Eye Centre School of Ophthalmic nursing.
Speaking yesterday at the matriculation ceremony of the 23rd set of Nursing student in the school, Dr. Mahmud revealed that the school was due for renovation stressing that the school will contact the private Sector, friends and well-wishers of the Hospital to support the school.
On Security, Dr. Alhassan advised the students to be safety conscious and avoid unnecessary movement out of the school.
Earlier, the Principal of the School Alhaji Abubakar Jibril Rifun said “we are matriculating a total of 48 students, I want to seize this opportunity to congratulate the matriculating students and to commend the effort of the Chief Medical Director Dr M. B Alhassan for the over whelming support enjoyed by the school through stable power supply, 24hours water supply, internet facility clinical and education materials.”
“The school of post Basic Ophthalmic Nursing, National Eye Centre Kaduna has maintained her accreditation status which is full accreditation awarded by Mildfrery Council of Nigeria after accreditation exercise and now given the right to admit 50 students per session instead of 30
