Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has assured the people that he would remain central and achieve the main focus of the APC-led administration in the state.
In his New Year message to the state, the Governor noted that based on its performance thus far, the ruling party remains the most viable option for the citizens ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Governor Bello maintained that, although the administration is winding down, the government remains focused and committed to completing most of the ongoing projects stressing that, “service delivery, improvement of the general living conditions and well-being of the people remains sacrosanct”.
Amidst heightened political activities ahead of the 2023 general elections, Governor Sani Bello warned against campaigns of calumny and thuggery, emphasizing the need for issue- based campaigns among all political gladiators and party loyalists.
He also acknowledged the declining banditry activities across the troubled parts of the state and paid glowing tribute to the gallantry of the Armed Forces and other security agencies for the sustained fight against the menace of banditry and wanton kidnappings that bedeviled the state.
While wishing citizens a blissful New Year, Governor Bello prayed for the sustenance of peace and unity in the state and country.
