The Niger state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial aspirant, Hon. Umar Ahmed has assured for developmental projects if elected adding that his aspiration is for the people by using his worth of experienced to bear in the state come 2019.
He made this known while briefing newsmen in Minna, said that his experience as a council Chairman, former member house of representative and businessman who have gone for to every looks and crannies of the state he is fully aware of grassroot problems.
Ahmed expressed optimism that he is not being sponsored by any godfather to create division in PDP hence depend on God to get his victory because he doesn’t have the financial muscle for the contest for the governorship seat.
On his closeness to former commissioner of financial aid later works, Alhaji Muazu Bawa Rijau was because he is his inlaw and brother, adding that those insinuating were not fair to him.
He stated that the recent decamping will no way affect his aspiration because the party executives at every level remain intact just as any decampee must have involved in anti party politics.
Hon. Ahmed emphasized that his findings has revealed that the major problems in the rural areas and in Niger state is lack of good roads, education and health facilities as well as portable drinking water which will be addressed if he emerged victorious in 2019 election.
