The leadership of Odua People’s Congress (OPC) has said President Muhammadu Buhari was not opposed to restructuring the nation.
Edo state Coordinator of Chief Gani Adams OPC-led group, Comrade Bright Omoviroro disclosed this in a statement which was made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Benin.
“It is pertinent for President Muhammadu Buhari to listen to the voices of eminent Nigerians who have raised their voices in support of restructuring of Nigeria.
“The popular maxim is Vox Populi, Voc Dei. The voice of the people is the voice of God. We are truly in support of the quest for restructuring and peaceful co-existence of all tribes in the country.
“This is the current trend across the world and Nigeria is not an exception”, the statement said.
Omoviroro in the statement, pledged the support to the paramount ruler of Benin Kingdom, Oba Ewuare II for for projecting the Cultural heritage of Benin and applauded the economic agenda of Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki.
