…withdraws clearance for Ekiti guber candidate

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will on Friday inaugurate the Sokoto state 16 man Care-taker committee which has Alhaji Abdullai S. Muhammed as chairman and Hon. Musa Garba Gusau, its secretary.
The party in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, also announced the withdrawal of the clearance given to Peter Obafemi, an aspirant for the PDP governorship ticket in Ekiti state.
By this, Peter Obafemi is not eligible to participate in the primary
to elect the candidate of the PDP for the Ekiti governorship election.
