The Police Command in Kano State has cautioned residents to be law abiding and comport themselves during President Goodluck Jonathan’s visit to the state on Tuesday, April 15.
The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 1, Mr. Tambari Muhammad, gave the advice when he spoke with newsmen in Kano yesterday.
“Mr. President had visited some states recently in the zone and no breakdown of law and order was recorded.
“I will, therefore, charge all residents of Kano and its environs to be law-abiding during and after the visit. The long arm of the law will not spare anyone found wanting,’’ he said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Jonathan’s visit was to receive the new members of the PDP in the state into the party. (NAN)
