The newly posted Kebbi State Police Commissioner , Mr. Benjamin Uche Onwuka has sent warning signals to criminals across the state to relocate elsewhere as Kebbi will no longer be safe for them.
The C.P who spoke through his Police Public Relation Officer(PPRO) Mohammed Mainagge(DSP) stated that to ensure security and safety of life and properties, the Command will continue to adopt new strategies to bring down the activities of criminals.
He explained that in less than one week since his assumption of office, the Command has recorded success in crime prevention, by arresting 3 robbery suspects with one locally made pistol; 3 live cartridgesand two machetes.
He explained further that the Command also foiled an attempt to rob one Mr. Mairiga Saidu of N250,000 while coming out from Zenith Bank.
Pointing out that the hoodlums planted slippers with nails under his car tyres and had a flat tyre along the line.
“This paved way for them to pull their guns at the man and disposes him of his money.” He added.
