Kaduna State Commissioner of Ministry for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan, has advised citizens to report suspicious criminal activities to security agencies.
Aruwan, made the call during a training for civilians and security stakeholders in Kaduna yesterday.
According to him, such positive actions of the residents would help to build peace in the state.
He added that the government is trying its best to ensure peace and security in the state and that people should support by giving security operatives the right information for rapid response.
“We are in challenging times; our security operatives cannot be in all the nooks and crannies of the state, that is why the community must complement the effort of security agencies.
“We can prevent conflict or other security challenge if we work together, communicate and interact with one another. The Kaduna state government is open for any engagement that will bring about peace”, he said.
