A four-year old girl, Nana Fatima Mustapha, was abducted and later found dead, with parts of her body organs removed by people believed to be ritual killers.
The dead body of Baby Fatima was found yesterday behind Zinari Hotel in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi state capital, after days of searching, with some parts of her body such as the nose, tongue, eyes and private part removed.
Narrating the incident to our correspondent, the father of late Fatima, Mustapha Zaki, who works in the Office of the state deputy governor, explained thus: ‘’My four years daughter Fatima was playing outside in company of two friends who told us that about three people came to them and enticed them
with sweets, sending them home with the excuse that they will go with Fatima and buy her more sweets’’, he said.
Fatima’s father further explained that when the two girls could not explain who those people were, the search for his daughter begun. ‘’We searched everywhere and even informed the police. Two days later we were informed that her body was found behind Zinari Hotel and some vital organs of her body like the nose, tongue and even private part removed’’, he said .
Confirming the incident to our correspondent, the Medical Doctor that examine her body, who works with Shayah Memorial Hospital, Birnin Kebbi, Abubakar Attahiru Kaoje, said that her right eye boll, both lower and upper lips, and noise were all removed.
