Save the Children International (SCI) Nigerian, said it is collaborating with the government and other actors to provide strategic technical support for girl child education in kaduna state.
The Acting State Team Leader, SCI, Mrs Eunice Victor, disclosed this at a one-day partnership strengthening session with School-Based Management Committees, Parent Teachers Association, media and persons with disability.
The meeting was organised by Kaduna Basic Education Accountability Mechanism (KADBEAM), with support from UK-funded Partnership to Engage, Reform and Learn (PERL).

“As an organisation, SCI has a strong mandate to ensure that learning is a right to every child and must be empowered to enjoy such rights.
“Accordingly, under the framework of our Every Last Child campaign, and our Girls Education Campaign launched in 2018, we are working to ensure that every child has access to quality basic education.”
