Warri Wolves have revealed their intention of silencing El Kanemi football club when both sides face in today’s Nigeria Professional Premier League game slated for the Warri City Stadium.
The Seasiders over the weekend edged out Union Douala of Cameroon to book a place in the next round of the Caf Confederation Cup.
Speaking ahead of today’s clash striker Kelvin Itoya said the players cannot afford to slip against El Kanemi as Warri Wolves will be hoping to make the Warri City Stadium their stronghold this season.
“I know we drew six matches and lost to Akwa United here but I can assure you that it will not happen,” said Itoya.
“I am very sure it won’t because we have experience players in our fold now who knows what to do at the right time.
“As for me, if the Coach gives me the chance to play, I have no choice than to score because there is competition in the team.
“You can see that everybody is struggling to get a shirt, so if the chance is giving to you, you just have to deliver and that is exactly what I am praying for.”
Meanwhile, contrary to information that the match will kick off by 6pm, media manager the club, Moses Etu has disclosed that the match will start by 4pm while urging fans to come out and support their darling team.
