The president of Uneme National Development Association UNDA, Mr. Bayo Akhigbe has described the nomination of Prince Clement Agba as a ministerial nominee by President Muhammadu Buhari as a “thoughtful decision.”
He said as a thoroughbred professional, Prince Agba will bring his vast wealth of experiences in the oil and gas, logistic and others as well those he acquired in the public sector to bear in the discharge of his ministerial duties.
Mr. Akhigbe, who spoke to journalists in Lagos, said the President has found a first class material who distinguished himself in his career.
He said “Agba’s brilliance, inventiveness, charisma, humaneness, generosity, discipline and sound work and professional ethos in the different sphere of his life will make his ministry the darling of the Buhari’s administration.”
The UNDA leader affirmed that been a proactive person, change agent, result-oriented, mobilizer of men and resources, Prince Agba, who is one of the two nominee from Edo also represent a plus for the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
Also speaking, President of Anegbette Development Association (ADA), Mr. Emma Okolo said Prince Agba’s sterling performance as a former Commissioner in the Adams Oshiomhole administration as Edo state Governor saw the state rise to its highest height in political governance and development.
A statement signed by ADA General Secretary, Mr. Suleiman Idris Alooma quoted the President saying “President Buhari’s nomination of Prince Agba is a like putting a round peg in a round hole”
The statement noted that “in his capacity as Commissioner in the Edo State Ministry of Environment and Public Utilities during the Adams Oshiomhole Prince Agba’s displayed strong leadership that was a reference point of the administration”
He said, “Nigerian can be rest assured that the President has in his cabinet a champion of development in any ministry he is assigned”
This time PMB is deploying drones as ministers. I see men and women who are hungry to take this country to the next level. I see our refineries working already in full capacity. I see Hungary being replaced with surplus. I see unemployment and inflation assuming single digit. I see insecurity and corruption being reduce to the bearest minimum. But am not a prophet.
