A globally recognized international enterprise, the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), with business operations in over 130 countries of the world and the prestigious Kaduna Business School, have commended Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) for improved service delivery to SMEs and residents of the FCT.
A statement from the Team Lead, Corporate Communications, AEA, Tony Odey, the commendation came on the heels of a closing ceremony of a two-week training programme organized by the Agency for its critical personnel, jointly facilitated by GIZ and Kaduna Business School in Abuja, over the weekend.
Head, GIZ Component, Economic Education and Entrepreneurship, Ms. Olawaiye Oladoyin, praised AEA for digitalizing its operations, which had enabled the Agency to attend to clients in real time, constantly interfacing with SMEs as well as maintaining high professional conduct in its business operations.
Similarly, the Rector of Kaduna Business School, Dr. Dahiru Sani lauded the Agency in the areas of bridging knowledge gap amongst SMEs, accessibility and institutionalization of feedback mechanism.
Earlier, in his remarks, the acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AEA, Mr. Chudi Ugwuada-Ezirigwe, expressed strong optimism that the training would further boost the capacity of the staff to deliver on the mandate of the Agency, which is in tandem with the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He therefore, charged participants to ensure they put to use knowledge acquired in the course of the training exercise for the benefit of the teeming residents of the Territory.
Speaking further, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, the Honourable Minister of FCT, Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for what he described as purpose-driven leadership style.
